Sunday School Details + Health Guidelines

We are excited that Sunday School has returned! Here are some important details to know during this unique time:

PRE-SCREEN BEFORE ATTENDING SUNDAY SCHOOL
Please pre-screen your child at home for any COVID, cold, or flu symptoms (cough, fever, runny nose, etc.)
CHECK-IN FOR ALL AGES

Parents/guardians will need to check in and print their own name tags for their kids attending Sunday School. There will be new touchless checkin stations available for this purpose. The touchless system is via the Church Center App  (churchcenter.com/install), which allows a smartphone to display a barcode that can be scanned at any station to perform the checkin.  This will be the primary mode of checking-in children for Sunday service, though if you need help or do not have a mobile device, the past check-in system will be available. Watch the touchless check-in tutorial here >>

We recommend that parents/guardians arrive a few minutes early before the service to check in their kids to avoid crowding during the Sunday School release.  As always, please form socially distanced lines behind each station.

CHECK-IN/OUT PROCESS FOR EACH CLASS:

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE:

Masks are optional as determined by the overall church policy for Sunday mornings.

Classrooms are thoroughly cleaned before Sunday morning in keeping with health standards.

There are masks and hand-sanitizer available in each of the classrooms, as well as extra cleaning supplies for the volunteers to use as needed.

We may be utilizing the playground outside for some of the older classes to get more fresh air and spread out. On cooler days, please bring a jacket for your child so they can feel more comfortable outdoors.

0-3 CLASS

Check-in
This class starts before the Sunday Service, however you can also drop your kids after worship.
Check-in is at the Children’s Ministry (CM) area near the main CM hallway. In order to allow for social distancing, we are limiting those walking down the Children’s Ministry hallway to one family at a time. Please form a socially-distanced line while waiting.
Check-out
Pick up your child at the CM table. Please have your child’s security tag ready so that we can match it with your child’s upon pick-up. We will practice social distancing/safety guidelines in the same manner as we did while checking-in.

4-6 CLASS

Check-in
This age group is invited to attend worship with their family first and then will be dismissed to go to Sunday School towards the end of the worship time. Listen for the worship leader or Pastor to release the kids to Sunday School.
