“Not of This World”
Jesus' prayer in John 17 is a preparation for his disciples to take his place in the mission moving forward. Each verse contains vital elements that they will need in order to do that. Their identity in him and relationship to this world are paramount among those elements. We are in need of these same things in order for us to carry on that mission.
