Kids Christmas Program (Ages 7 - 12 + Middle School)
This year, we’ll have a great time learning the “Really, Really, Really Good News” and bringing glory to Jesus!
The 2024 Kids Christmas Musical includes all kids 7 years old thru Middle School age. This year’s practices will be held after Sunday School release and will be held in place of regular Sunday School classes. Practice will go a little bit later than service.
Choir Practice Schedule + Music
Important Dates:
11/24: Practice, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
12/1, 12/8: Practice, 10:00* a.m. until TBD (no later than 11:30 a.m.)
12/12: Dress Rehearsal in auditorium, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
12/15: Performance during service

Costumes for Choir Members
We are excited that for this year’s Really Really Really Good News musical, choir members have the option of wearing a costume in one of four categories: Angel, Shepherd, Bible Times Character, or Nativity Animal (choose from sheep/donkey/cow/camel). Alternatively, a traditional Christmas outfit (girls: Christmas dress. Boys: slacks and dress shirt, etc.) can also be worn.
If you decide to pick a costume, please place the name of the choir participant in this spreadsheet and corresponding column. We have a limit of 10 of each type so we do not have too many of one kind in the choir.
See below for links to purchase a costume or for DIY help. Costs of these costumes are in the $10-30 range.
Angels (no wings due to limited riser space). The church has headbands for Halos available.

For those that would like to be a sheep, please contact Rochelle Witman (rochellewitman@summitview.com) before buying or creating a costume as we have four available from last year.
If your choir participant really wants a costume, but cost is an issue, please contact Chad Schneider (chad@summitview.com) and we can find a way to get them one.
Kids Christmas Program (Ages 3-6)
3-4s and 5-6s classes will also be performing in their own choirs on 12/15. Practice for these ages will occur during normal Sunday School each Sunday until the performance.
