“Mount Sinai and the Golden Calf”
God reveals himself to the Israelites for the first time publicly. He terrifies the Israelites with his might. But when Moses tarries on the mount, they commit one of the most egregious sins recorded. Christians are similarly waiting for the return of Christ in a world pressuring them to turn away from God’s expressed will. How are we as Christians to live in the waiting?
