Victory Over the Lies

Summer Bible Study

Join us this summer for a 10-week Bible study aimed at gaining victory over the lies the enemy tries to feed us.

When: Wednesdays, June 4-August 6, 7:00-8:30 p.m.

Who: All women high school and up

What: The Smudged Pages Bible Study

  • Examine areas of weakness for women
  • Discern which lies you have bought into
  • Learn how to root them out of your life
  • Replace them with God’s truth
  • Gain tools to overcome in battle in the mind
  • Grow toward victory every single day!

Extra Details:

This is a great follow-up to the spiritual warfare sermon series our church went through.

There is just a little bit of study and reflection, only 4 days per week, so not overwhelming!

Topic: “Psalms Part 1″

Please join us in discovering the meaning of Psalms 1-22 in the contexts of Scripture. As we  inductively study Psalms Part 1 we will observe a diverse range of poetic expressions, including prayers, laments, praises, and reflection on God’s character and human experience. This study will prove a rich tapestry of spiritual insights and emotional honesty. We will learn to apply what we learn for ourselves as we discover the truth for ourselves.

Through Psalms we learn about God—His attributes, what pleases and displeases Him, His relationship to the righteous and the wicked, and His revelation of the future concerning Messiah, salvation, and judgment. In Psalms 1–22, we learn how blessed we are who are in right relationship to Him, that we respond to Him in worship. This study is 5 lessons (5 weeks) long.
