Serve

To love like Jesus, we want to bless those around us through our service. Whether it be those in need in our church community or helping those in Fort Collins, our hope is to bring a steady presence of hope and mercy to our city. Will you join us?

Serve 6.8 Resource Center

Summitview is a Serve 6.8 Resource Center, where the under-resourced of Fort Collins can receive free food, clothing and more! The goal is not just to meet practical needs, but to share the gospel and that God can be a protector, caregiver, and provider with those who so desperately need it.

For anyone who would like to learn more about what we do, please come serve with us on Fridays 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. And please be praying for us and the work God is doing in people’s lives through our Resource Center!

If you have any questions about the Resource Center, contact Andrew at ajaxmeyer@gmail.com.

Serve at the Resource Center

Please be praying that …

God would be honored by what we are doing

God would empower us to love every single person who comes through our door

God would give us wisdom on how to best help these people

God would be working powerfully in these people’s lives and saving them from the kingdom of darkness

God would be growing our faith

Service Saturday

NEXT SERVICE PROJECT SATURDAY:
December 7, meet at the building, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Six Saturday mornings a year, we have the opportunity to bless those in our church family and our community who are in need of extra help around their house. We love being able to bless others practically by helping with various service projects throughout the year. We meet at the building for a light breakfast and prayer before we spit into smaller groups for the rest of the morning. Service Saturdays are the first Saturday of the even months. Grab a friend and come serve with us!

Sunday Morning

We weren’t made to be alone as Hebrews 10:24-25 teaches us, and Sunday mornings are our opportunity to all gather together. There are many ways to serve on Sunday mornings to connect with and bless our community!

Faith Family Hospitality

NEXT FFH ROTATION:
November 24 – December 1

Have you ever experienced a crisis where you lost your job, couldn’t pay your rent, had unforeseen medical bills, or weren’t sure where you would sleep tomorrow night? Can you imagine dealing with such a situation as the parent of young children? The Fort Collins Family Housing Network interacts with families in these situations every day, and some of them don’t have a safe place to sleep. That’s where Faith Family Hospitality (FFH) jumps in to provide safe shelter and warm meals. Summitview has been partnering with 30 churches in Fort Collins through FFH for over 10 years to provide such a refuge for these families that need help. We have opened our church doors to provide overnight shelter, warm meals, and the love of Christ to help these families on their journey back to sustainable self-sufficiency. We’d love to join you in showing hospitality to these families in need.
