Catalyst Children's Ministry

We believe that the heart of every Christian parent is to see their children walk faithfully and sincerely with the Lord. We have a glorious opportunity to invest in the coming generation, and our Children’s Ministry – Catalyst – exists in order to make the most of this opportunity through meaningful church experiences and supporting parent-led discipleship in the home.

Children's Ministry Vision

Summitview Community Church is committed to providing excellent and dynamic children's programs for children in nursery through fifth grade. Our goal is to provide a safe, engaging and fun environment where kids connect with the truths of God and His Word. You know your kids best and are called by God to be responsible for their spiritual health and growth. This is a challenging task, and we want our Catalyst Children’s Ministry to be a resource for ideas, encouragement and hope for you as a parent.

On Sunday Morning

Children thrive in spiritual community! That's why we work hard to help kids enjoy their church experience at Summitview. Our children's programs incorporate crafts, games, music and interactive lessons to communicate God's truth in ways that impact kids beyond Sunday. You are also welcome to keep your children with you during the service.

Please stop by the Children's Ministry Table in the church lobby to ask questions, get directions and register your child for their classroom.

Room Information

The following information is provided to familiarize you with the details of children's ministry at Summitview.

Mom's Room: Nursing moms only, please. Located on the first floor in the children's wing, this room is quiet and comfortable and includes a closed circuit broadcast of the Sunday service.

Nursery through Toddlers childcare is offered during both services. Parents can drop off their children before the service or at the mid-service break. Parents, please come to your child's classroom as soon as the service concludes to pick up your child.

Preschool through 8th grade classes are offered during both services. Starting at age two-and-a-half, the first service features a curriculum-based classroom setting. Our second service offers a larger group Children's Church format (Preschool-Kindergarten and 1st-5th grade). Middle school students (6th-8th grade) meet in the Upper Room for teaching and discussion in Mpact youth group. Parents can drop off their children at the mid-service break. Children need to be picked up by their parents at their classroom as soon as the service concludes.
