Small Groups, Big Purpose
The Four Characteristics of Summitview’s Small Groups
We are God’s church in Fort Collins — the ekklesia. Each saint has a “relational shadow” — our oikos. When we overlap these two spheres in our small groups, healthy community thrives and the gospel is delivered throughout our city.
Forming our small groups around the people and places we’re called to reach (Acts 17:24-28) gets rid of a churchy activity and replaces it with a vibrant, Jesus-centered way of living that frees us to view all of life as ministry. When life is lived in the overlap, members honor God, experience fellowship, mature in their Christ-likeness and unite in a common mission.
